Xbox360 updates revealed
Details of the updates Kaos are working on to fix some issues with the Xbox 360 version of Frontlines: Fuel of War have been revealed
- Unranked Issues "Session no longer available": We are close to a fix
for this issue and we provide an update after it's fully tested.
- We tackled most of the "Session no longer available" issues but there
are a couple left we are still working hard on. We plan to provide a
"Server is full" message due to the fact sometimes the servers fill up
before you can get in. The current message is misleading in this case
for "Session is no longer available".
- Sometimes you will also notice servers that state 28/32 that you're
not able to join. This issue is similar where the server is full but the
number is incorrect in the browser. Again, we do have a fix in the works
for this issue.
- VOIP & Squad Fixes/Enhancements: We are really digging deep into
providing some updates based on everyone's feedback.
- 50 player Servers & updates: There will be more 50 player servers
available soon and stayed tuned for ways to make sure finding a great 50
match much easier.
- Spawning: We are investigating possibilities for temp invulnerability
when for you spawn to address spawn camping tactics.
- Controls: Investigating mis-mappings with the Legacy control scheme.
- Exploits: We do have some fixes we are testing and reviewing to
address any exploits found.
Thanks again for everyone's support and please keep up the feedback!

Kotaku Australia goes hands-on with X360 Frontlines multiplayer
THQ and Koas have pimped roles as one of Frontlines defining features. And it's definitely a nice touch. Players can further specialise in Ground Support, EMP Tech, Drone Tech and Air Support. Depending on which side you're playing as, these specialties will be different. For instance, Red Star Alliance Drone Tech provides the player with flying drones, while the Western Coalition is given tiny remote tanks. So if you ever feel like mixing it up, all you have to do is switch allegiances.
